John Kerry, the not so accidental traitor

John Heinz Kerry made a trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland this past week.
Here he is hanging with his buddy, former president of Iran Mohammad Khatami–

Never one to keep his mouth shut to avoid spewing verbal garbage, Kerry called the U.S. an “international pariah.”
From Hot Air with video
Kerry said the Bush administration has failed in addressing a number of foreign policy issues.
“When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don’t advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy,” Kerry said.
“So we have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East — in the world, really. I’ve never seen our country as isolated, as much as a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today.”…
Kerry’s memory is as selective as his choice in billionaire widowers, the Kyoto accord was first rejected under Clinton.
Economists from the Clinton White House now concede that complying with Kyoto’s mandatory reductions in greenhouse gases would be difficult — and more expensive to American consumers than they thought when they were in charge.
That reassessment helped fuel Bush’s decision to reject the Kyoto treaty, said Lawrence Lindsey, the president’s economic adviser. Instead of embracing binding limits on greenhouse gases, Bush pledged on Monday a modest package of actions to combat global warming. They include a research initiative to fill gaps in scientists’ understanding of climate change and increased use of renewable energy. But he didn’t call for new money.
As for the Africa claim:
No other country has spent more money at any other time on AIDS research and support to Africa than during the Bush administration — not even close. The Clinton administration did almost nothing. That would have taken the impossible task for Clinton of taking a stance on something.
AIDS IN AFRICA: Mission Control – Pres. Bush’s plan to triple US spending on fighting AIDS in Africa
National Review, Feb 24, 2003
President Bush’s new $15 billion AIDS-fighting initiative for Africa will triple U.S. spending on the crisis. It is a “work of mercy,” says Bush-a mission-one undertaken by a “blessed country” that recognizes its moral responsibility to help the wretched of the earth.
Bush TRIPLED U.S. spending to Africa — moron.
John Kerry was almost elected President of the United States. If you voted for this “America last” coward, I hope you are taking a closer look at your reasons.
A few months ago, Kerry said he botched a joke when he denigrated our troops by calling them stupid and uneducated — John Kerry is the botched joke.
