What did Obama or his father do?

True, New Yorkers tend to favor a hin crust, but thats because they are all insects who believe in only ONE kinda of thing cuz that is what the queen Bloomberg tells them.
In Chicago, we eat what we like, and there is a variety of crusts, you have thin crispy, you have hand tossed, you have rolled dough crust, and you have thick and deep dish.
THIS is just plain incorrect.
You’re touring the home of real pizza with some of the most famous eateries in the country.
You Sir, need to spend a little more time in chicago and eat some real za.

It’s just opinion, and I admit I’m partial.
I like michelle bachmann, I think she is a great representative, and a good speaker for the basics of conservative principles
Let me put this in context, I think she is a GREAT REPRESENTATIVE, and a good speaker for the basics of conservative principles.
And just to make this Clear, to paraphrase Trey Parker and Matt Stone when doing commentary about when they went to Russel Crowes private debut of 20 aught grunt or whatever his bands name is. “she is a GREAT REPRESENTATIVE, and a good speaker for the basics of conservative principles.”
But Mitch Daniels can lead, even with his goofy unassuming attitude. Also, when even your allies are attacking you, then you know that you are a force. I know Palin knows that, but please sarah don’t run, and get behind Daniells.

Governor Mitch Daniels (R-IN) rescinded collective bargaining for state workers on his first day in office in 2005. The result? Ninety-two (92) percent of union members left the union.
No outrage. No protests. No Nazi signs and targets painted on his photographs. No legislators abandoning their duties. No dirty Chicago politics. No president criticizing his actions.
More results? After those actions, Daniels managed to bring Indiana out of its $600 million budget deficit in the first year and then maintain a budget surplus, even during the recession.

Since the so much of Nation is covered in a whole hell of a lot of snow, I should share these pic’s, taken just within about a mile of where I live, none of them are very major, and some might seem completely meaningless, but eh. so e it.
Not easy to see this, this is a sidestreet (about 6 hours after the snow stopped.) The cleared area is the area in front of a local church, beyond that, you can see all the untouched, or barely touched rest of the street. There are a lot of houses on that street, and a lot of people who won’t just have to dig out their car, but their entire block.
That is a snowblower path on the sidewalk. The snow is about 2′ high, I forgot to include something to compare how deep it was. I took that one, cuz the walk was cleared for about 4 blocks, stretching the entire length of the walk from the church till the sidewalk goes away, and the guy just finished when I got there. I didn’t talk to him, but I got the impression that it was the same guy who cleared out the church area. A little good samaritanishness.
Yeahp they were open, walked in to ask if I could take the picture and put it up, offered me a brew, no thanks, walking was hazardous enough. Next pic is their parking lot.
So basically until they get it cleared, they don’t have a parking lot, but there were I would say 5 customers there when I walked in. Apparently a number of people need a muscle relaxer to ease their aching backs.
I talked to this guy for a minute because he gave me a strange looked when I walked by smiling, and I asked him if he was responsible for all of that. As you can see that snow mountain right next to him, that he was still adding to. He said yes, and then I asked.
If he was responsible for those. Yeahp, he was. His neighbor is kinda elderly, so he did his car, his wifes car and his neighbors car. I don’t know if the perspective shows how tall those are, but they are almost as tall as me, which is a little taller than that guy. He must have been out there when the first plow came by and not stopped until about the time I walked past him. Another good samaritan.
those are railroad tracks. I was thinking “Man! I sure wish we had some highspeed trains to take me to detroit!” And that’s a mild example, there are images of some CTA traintracks that had more than 4 feet of snow stacked on them.
I just thought this one was kinda funny. the might be overstocked, so you can call crazy langs to for all your Ice Needs, Call NOW NOW NOW!
Summary: It was a lot, but my area, comparatively, got off a little lighter than others, but it still deserves to be called snowpacolypse. There is also the reality that it isn’t expected to get above freezing for more than 12 days, and I only say 12 days, because I couldn’t find any weather predictions that go beyond 12 days, so all that stuff is basically gonna stay where it is, until moved, for a while.
Tomorrow I will update the post with some of the happy joy joy stuff, cuz all of the kids in the neighborhood are gonna be attacking the snow for fun after they get done shoveling it out of the parents way. One neighbor already started on a snow fort, but I think he’s gonna expand on it so we will see where he and the other kiddoes are at.
[update] Okay shot a few pic’s today, didn’t walk very far, it was friggn cold (4 degree’s including windchill, though I think it was colder than that.)
The city was nice enough to come through and plow the alley. To which, I think, this particularneighbor said “Thank you?”
That’s the rest of the alley going in one direction. A car can maneuver down it well enough, not bad, thank you city for clearing out the alley. The city was also nice enough to plow the streets running perpendicular to the ally. Leading again to the observation of those who prefer to use that ally. . . “Thank you?
Apparently it was too cold for the kiddos for the most part, so I only got one happy happy joy joy pick, and it cute, so I will put it in big.
the big brother started it yesterday so that his little brother and sister could play fort, but the little sister, isn’t allowed to play without one of her brothers or mother or father watching out, you know, the justincase situation. the mom said that the big brother, if he had a snow day might expand on it for his sister. Good family, cute fort. I might ask for a tour.

Sadly, I don’t think enough research is done on university policies by students or parents of students who are exploring which universities to attend. Naturally people will ask questions about academics and degree programs. However there are some rather important questions that I advise parents add to their list of questions when doing campus visits with their children.
These are just a few. I challenge you to think of others.

Yeah, hope not.
This used to be a great place to find and trade information — much love to Wicked for keeping things going — but, I’m pretty fired up about the really awesome friends that are thinking about joining us here.
Tis the season.
Let’s make some noise!
If you know that song, you are as old as me — so sorry.

Worst. Serial Killer. Ever.
* On August 3, 1991, the Laser Man shot his first person. The victim was a 21 year old immigrant to Sweden from Eritrea, whom Ausonius shot in the back. The victim, however, survived. Two of the victim’s friends said they saw a circle of red light on his body before they heard the shot.
* On the evening of October 21, 1991, outside the Stockholm University, Shahram Khosravi, a 25-year-old student of Iranian origin, was shot in the face but survived.
* On the night of October 27, 1991, a homeless man of Greek origin was shot twice in the stomach. The victim saw a bright red light, heard the shots but managed to run away. Although wounded, he survived.
* In the middle of the day of November 1, 1991, Ausonius walked into a restaurant kitchen in Stockholm where he had seen an immigrant and shot him once in the head and several times in the stomach. The victim, Heberson Vieira Da Costa, a musician from Brazil, saw a red light before he was shot, and got a good look at his assailant. The victim survived, seriously wounded, but was able to give a description of the Laser Man to the police.
* Ausonius continued his shootings and, on November 8, 1991, he mortally wounded Jimmy Ranjbar, another Iranian student, who died the next day.
Ausonius then went to Las Vegas to gamble and visit the Grand Canyon. The Laser Man disappeared for a few months, but he would return.
* On January 22, 1992, Ausonius went to Uppsala, where he walked up to a couple, and shot the man in the head. The victim, Erik Bongcam-Rudloff, was a Ph.D. student in medical sciences. He survived and is now a scientist representing Sweden in several international scientific networks.
* January 23, 1992, back in Stockholm, Ausonius shot a black bus driver, originally from Zimbabwe, in the middle of the day. The victim was shot in the chest but survived. That evening, Ausonius walked into a Somali club in central Stockholm and shot two men, both of whom also survived.
* On the night of January 28, 1992, Ausonius walked up to a kiosk where Isa Aybar, an immigrant of Turkish origin, was working. Ausonius shot him four times in the head and arm, and walked away. Aybar was seriously wounded but managed to call the police and survived.
* On January 30, 1992 Ausonius shot his last victim, from Lebanon, in the head, a store owner in Hägerstensåsen, paralyzing but not killing him.
I’m feeling more than a little sorry for Jimmy Ranjbar.

Dana Loesh covered this a few days ago, and whoever uploaded this audio needs to fix the playback, I keep hearing a cartoon character unfortunately.
Cedra Crenshaw is a melanin enriched republican who has been hammered by the Chicago machine (yes, if you haven’t been to chicago for dinner, or are a liberal, you might not know that chicago is a BRUTAL political machine that would make tammeny cry) and literally had her nomination revoked, COUNTER to precedent. Why?
Apparently for the same reason that people had a right to Jack Ryan’s divorce decree’s, but not to Obama’s college transcripts.
You know? Causes harm to the children of the Marriage? Unimportant, give the info to the tribune.
Demand transparency to qualify claims made by a grifter (obama?) No, that makes you a birther.
Grifter in chief has only won ONE election, and that is for president. _I_ could run against allen keyes and win.
These people have NO EFFING SHAME!
Update: Dan Riehl says Cedra won the case and is on the Ballot, ruling came down, and only reference is her capaign site apparently, no cite to a news link yet.

I wonder how many times the jurors uttered the phrase “John J. Haley is a piece of fucking shit.”
Apparently at the trial, it came to light that he shoved another elderly fisherman into the lake a month before he killed Du Doan. The other victim of “Johnny’s” prank survived and testified at the trial, giving supporting evidence for John J Haley’s piece of fucking shittedness.
He was sentenced on November 4th 2007, but I don’t remember catching any of that info on the local news or in the local papers, and the linked post didn’t come up until December 11 2009, so that’s part of why I didn’t follow up on the original post. Apparently other than 3 local bloggers, like this interesting chick at Bonnies Blog of Crime Nobody gave a damn.
Question. 10 years sentence, what does that come out to in real years? Assuming he’s able to keep his head and temper and not screw up while in prison?
Update: Forgot that some people might not be familiar with my highly substantive coverage of the situation when it first happened, added link to my first “John J. Haley” post.
