Ways to tell you are not a Man

Posted by Wickedpinto on April 4, 2008

Apparently, this is a big deal.

Some chick, who got rid of her tits is calling herself a man, but I noticed a few things that make it clear that she is in fact a deliberately unattractive woman, rather than a man.

1) No y chromosome.

2) No Dick.   While some people with y chromosomes, chose to be seperated from their dick, they officially lose their manhood (literaly, it is refered to as “losing your manhood,” kinda like marriage, only less painful) when they cut off their cranks.

3) no testicles.  No testicles, makes the dick useless, therefore not a man.

4) Being FUCKING PREGNANT!

There are of course numerous more methods of identification, but those are the ones that I have chosen to include.

Laura Ingraham’s co-host producer guy said “MEN, do not have ‘fat pants,’” so I will include that one, but I think that this should be my random inclusion for the moment, inviting all of you to take part in the way of the “Ways to tell that you are not a man,” contest.  Just see it as my bi-annual equivalent of LauraW’s Haiku contests.

Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick charged with perjury, obstruction, misconduct

DETROIT –Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has filed felony charges against Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his former Chief of Staff Christine Beatty, accusing both of perjury, conspiracy to obstruct justice, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office, charges that could send both to prison in connection with the text-message scandal.

“Our investigation has clearly shown that public dollars were used, people’s lives were ruined, the justice system was severely mocked and the public trust trampled on,” Worthy said. “This is as far from being a private matter as one can get.”

She expects the mayor and Beatty to turn themselves in by 7 a.m. Tuesday for arraignment in 36th District Court.

I wish they could also charge Kwame with felony hubris. The level of sheer contempt for the people of Detroit and the law it takes to get to a point like this is just mind boggling.

As I type this, I’m waiting for the mayor to give his press conference. His arrogance and failure to act like a decent human being are still in evidence as he is having his staff exclude reporters that have been active in reporting this case from the press room.

Ah, it’s starting. Kwame is having his lawyer do the talking. What a bunch of shit. No apologies, no responsibility. Blame throwing and denial. They will not discuss the case with the press.

No resignation. It is beyond ridiculous that they are playing the victim card at this point.

Here comes the mayor.

Kwame is “deeply disappointed in the prosecutor.” This is a “flawed process.” “I will be exonerated.” Blah, blah blah. “Full and complete vindication.”

Kwame is going to drag the City of Detroit down with him.

Scumbag to the end.

Heh. Let’s have another round of Name That Party!. And, again.

I wonder how long it will be before we hear from Kwame’s mother, US Congresswoman Caroline Cheeks-Kilpatrick, defending her son — again.

Leave Kwame alone!

Posted by mesablue on March 14, 2008

Bumped: I posted this on January 30th, but Kwame is now getting well earned national attention for his “indiscretions” — this deserves another look.

Heh, for those outside of Michigan, the “Gangsta Mayor” is in trouble again. This time for lying in court about an affair with his chief of staff during a lawsuit brought by former police officers who were fired for having the gall to try to investigate wrong doing by the Mayor and his staff. The City of Detroit had to settle for several million dollars. Kwame didn’t think anyone would ever find out about the text messages that he sent on his city issued cell phone to his paramour about getting rid of the officers and how she has a sweet, sweet booty.

Guess he doesn’t watch The Wire.

Hypocrisy, thy name is…

spitzer.jpg

Ouch.

This is everywhere by now. But, it’s just too much to pass up.

Spitzer Is Linked to Prostitution Ring

ALBANY - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been caught on a federal wiretap arranging to meet with a high-priced prostitute at a Washington hotel last month, according to a person briefed on the federal investigation.

An affidavit in the federal investigation into a prostitution ring said that a wiretap recording captured a man identified as Client 9 on a telephone call confirming plans to have a woman travel from New York to Washington, where he had reserved a hotel room. The person briefed on the case identified Mr. Spitzer as Client 9.

Mr. Spitzer today made a brief public appearance during which he apologized for his behavior, and described it as a “private matter.”

A “private matter.” The gall.

Juicy details of the “private matter” at The Smoking Gun.

Spitzer — forever to be known as “client-9″ — has yet to resign. My guess is that he is working out the details with prosecutors to cut a deal that helps him avoid a full indictment if he relinquishes his public powers.

“Client-9″ was prosecuting prostitution rings while availing himself to the services of the Emperors Club — essentially eliminating their competition. For what sort of “compensation?”

So, yes little moonbats, this is not just about “sex.” This is not a “private matter”, it is a criminal one.

Jay R. Grodner achieves Internet immortality

Posted by mesablue on January 4, 2008

His name is now an Internet verb.

As in, to grodner oneself.

Grodner [’ghræd n3r] (v):
1) To aggressively self-destruct through felony vandalism crossed with a sense of invulnerability and entitlement.
2) To be-prick oneself in public while flashing the victim card.

Scumbag of the Year makes the Chicago Tribune

Posted by mesablue on January 3, 2008

It took a few days, but the story of shitbird extraoardinaire, Jay R. Grodner, caught the attention of the press.

John Kass covered the story today in the Chicago Tribune.

I’m going way beyond fair use, I can’t find any part that I could leave out. Kass talked to more of the people involved than we’ve heard from before — except for the bad actor himself, who remains hidden.

As of this evening, this was the most viewed story on the Chicago Tribune web site.

Jay R. Grodner is officially — infamous.

Marine Sgt. Michael McNulty — now on his way to Iraq for his second tour of duty in the war — took meticulous care of his car.

It is a black two-door BMW, an expensive ride for a young Marine from Chicago, but then, McNulty didn’t exactly join up for the big paycheck and luxury vacations.

The 26-year-old McNulty was a trader at the exchange and enlisted in the Reserves after 9/11. He babied his car so much that he had military vanity plates along with a sticker in his window that let people know that a Marine or a Marine supporter drove that car.

But someone didn’t like the Marine sticker, or the pro-military plates, and decided to stage an anti-war protest, with a key or hard piece of metal, on the shiny black finish of Sgt. McNulty’s car that caused $2,400 in damage.

“It’s a really nice car. It’s in perfect condition. He keeps it meticulous. And he was going to sell it,” said Sgt. McNulty’s friend, Tom Sullivan, a college buddy from Loyola University.

The last time Sgt. McNulty was in Iraq, he worked a .50-caliber machine gun from a Humvee. Now that he’s going back, he really doesn’t need a shiny black BMW that shows dust.

“There wasn’t a scratch on his car,” Sullivan said.

But there is one now.

It is a big scratch, a particularly long scratch in that black paint, a scratch stretching from the rear driver’s side around the back, across the trunk, then up to the passenger’s side.

If you have a car, and parked it on the street, surely you’ve thought about what an angry key could do to it.

According to the Cook County state’s attorney’s office, it wasn’t an accident, but a deliberate key job, not done by some kid or street thug, but by a Chicago lawyer who apparently can’t stand the military.

Private attorney Jay R. Grodner, 55, of Chicago has been charged with a class A misdemeanor — criminal damage to property — punishable by up to one year in jail and up to a $2,500 fine, said Andy Conklin, spokesman for the state’s attorney’s office.

Late Wednesday, I reached Sgt. McNulty, who declined to comment for the paper but confirmed the facts in the police report.

And I wanted to get Grodner’s side of it because he’s been accused but not convicted of anything. So we called all the Grodner numbers we could find — home and business — including those on the police report and others in the suburbs and Chicago. Many were disconnected, and his cell phone voice mail was full.

I’d like to ask him two questions:

Why?

And, are you proud?

“McNulty was just coming to pick me up for breakfast, because he was going to training just before deployment,” Sullivan said of that morning on Dec. 1 in Rogers Park.

There are several one-way streets near Sullivan’s home, but McNulty missed the turn, and rather than drive two or three blocks around, he put the car in reverse and backed up a hundred or so feet. He pulled up in front of his friend’s house, rang the bell and Sullivan came downstairs. McNulty then turned around and saw Grodner’s hands on his black car.

“Mike says, ‘Hey, what are you doing to my car? Open up your hand!’” Sullivan told us. “And [Grodner] goes, ‘[Blank] you! Just because you’re in the military you don’t run the roost!’”

There were allegedly many more epithets and cuss words, some allegedly applied to the United States Marine Corps, to the U.S. armed forces and to Sgt. McNulty himself.

“Quite frankly, you don’t even look like a soldier. You’re a small little [blank],” Grodner said according to Sullivan.

This last bit really bothers William McNulty, who is Sgt. McNulty’s brother, and he called me.

“My brother should be commended for not just smashing that guy’s windpipe right there for all the stuff he said about our military, and the insults,” William McNulty said. “Instead, my brother called the police, as he should have.”

According to the police report I read, other investigative accounts and interviews, Grodner was upset to have been accused of purposely scratching the car. So upset, that he accused his accusers of being anti-Semitic.

The Chicago police officer responding to the call didn’t take the accusation seriously, according to the report, because he couldn’t justify it. And Sgt. McNulty’s brother and Sullivan say it is outrageous and nonsensical.

“The officer wasn’t going to hear this kind of talk. He put the kibosh on the whole thing,” Sullivan said. “So [Grodner] became apologetic.”

According to the police report, “The offender denied scratching the victim’s vehicle, but did admit to rubbing past it.”

Rubbing past it? I guess it all depends on what the definition of “rubbing” is.

That’s where it is now, awaiting another court date, set for Jan. 18, after Sgt. McNulty refused to back off and drop the charges in earlier court appearances.

Lawyers know how to drag things out, with continuance after continuance, stalling until complaining witnesses get tired and move on.

But Marines on their way to war don’t seek continuances.

And all Sgt. McNulty wanted was a little respect, and the chance to sell that car of his, without a scratch.

Wow, Grodner turns out to be an even bigger scumbag than it seemed originally. Pompous, arrogant, obnoxious and now obviously — pretty fucking stupid.

Grodner, if you haven’t figured it out yet, you are completely fucked. You screwed the pooch this time. The best part is — you did it to yourself.

Bluster and hubris are not your friend. This time, you get to bend over and grab your ankles. What is the correct term for a self-inflicted ass pounding?

BOHICA, baby!

I look forward to reporting your sentencing.

Absolute scumbag (Updated w/ court coverage)

Posted by mesablue on December 31, 2007

Another liberal nutjob becomes unhinged.

Anti-Military Lawyer Damages Marine’s Car on Eve of Deployment

Marine Sgt Mike McNulty is on activation orders to Iraq (second tour). On December 1st, 2007, Mike went to visit a friend in Chicago before deploying to say goodbye.

While saying goodbye, at about 11am, he noticed a man leaning up against his car. Mike left his friend’s apartment and caught the man keying his car on multiple sides.

After caught in the process, the man told Mike, “you think you can do whatever you want with Department of Defense license plates and tags”. (In Illinois you can purchase veteran, Marine, or medal plates. Mike has Illinois Marine Corps license plates.) During the exchange, he made additional anti-military comments.

The guy who did this — a local lawyer.

As it turns out, the man is Chicago lawyer Jay R. Grodner, who owns a law firm in the city and has offices in the suburbs.

The State’s Attorney is reluctant to prosecute this asshat because he is a lawyer. Grodner is refusing to pay the $2400.00 in damage that he did to Sgt McNulty’s car.

Grodner takes things a step further into scumbag land:

the State asked Mike if he would accept probation for Grodner. Mike accepted, probation was offered to Grodner, and Grodner declined the offer, saying within ear shot of Mike, “I’m not going to make it easy on this kid”. Mike’s next court date is tomorrow, Monday, December 31st, to pursue misdemeanor charges against Grodner.

However, Sgt McNulty has to leave January 2nd to return to Iraq. So, if this isn’t resolved on Monday — Grodner probably gets off scot-free.

Please go read the entire story at Blackfive.

Word of this moron’s actions needs to be spread. If he won’t be prosecuted, at least knowledge of his behavior can get out there. If you have a blog — please post this story.

h/t Ace of Spades HQ

Update
: Turns out that Grodner is no stranger to deviant behavior.

In addition to being disciplined for being involved in a scheme to forging documents, it has been reported to CLR that attorney Jay Grodner has engaged in a conflict of interest with his clients, has abandoned his clients, has engaged in false billing, has engaged in a fraud upon his clients, provided ineffective assistance of counsel, and has engaged in a “fraud upon the court”.

Why is this guy still allowed to practice law?

Karma. Even more karma. Heh, a VERY creepy picture of the guy.

***A live report from the court house***

From Free Republic:

The hearing was scheduled for 12/31/07 @ 13:30. It was held at Circuit Court of Cook County - outlying court branch 29 -Belmont & Western, Chicago IL. This is 6 miles NW of downtown Chicago and approx 65 miles round trip from where I live.

Sgt. McNulty was in civvies. He was there with family & friends and his attorney.

There also appeared to be a couple of supporters sitting in the gallery.

I sat in the last row. With my eyesight & hearing shot, the following is the best I can make out.

The court is secured by the Cook County Sheriff’s office The judge ( I didn’t hear his name or see his nameplate) convened the court early - at 13:24. (Courtroom 29 - I believe it was Felony court)

Sgt. McNulty was called at 13:33. Jay R. Grodner was a no show. The judge issued a bench warrant for Mr. Grodner @ 13:36.

Sgt. McNulty filed the complaint and raised his hand and swore that it was true.

I thought that was the end of it, so I got up to leave and waited in the waiting area for the Sgt. to come out.

A Marine PFC, in dress blues, cut & razor sharp, walked in to lend his support.

Sgt. McNulty and his entourage came out, then was called back into the courtroom for about 10 minutes.

He came back out to leave. I met them outside. I gave Sgt. McNulty FRegards and a Semper Fi and told him we have his back and that thousands have his back.

He thanked us for the support.

Jay Grodner (or a representative) must have showed up, as, when I talked with the Sgt.’s attorney, he said Grodner wanted a continuance to get an attorney.

The case was continued and will go to fruition and Sgt. McNulty wont have to re-appear.

WordPress.com Political Blogger Alliance

Last Update: As Sgt McNulty heads back to Iraq tomorrow, I want to wish him God speed and best of luck. Keep your head down Marine. You now have thousands of former/current Marines and other service members that want to see you come back safely — because we support you, but also because of how you handled yourself in this situation. Jay Grodner can only hope to be half the man that you have already proven yourself to be.

Over two thousand people hit this page in less than two days — and I am just one small blog among very many. I hope that you’ve been able to feel some of that support.

At the same time, I hope the Jay Grodners of the world know that there is no longer a place for scumbag sheisters like them to hide. As an officer of the court, you are held to a higher standard. It is not a license for bad behavior.

“So be it, until victory is America’s and there is no enemy, but peace!”

Clothes? I don’t need no stinking clothes!

Posted by mesablue on November 21, 2007

At least that’s how it played out tonight in the state that is trying to give Florida a run for the money for weirdest news on a daily basis.

Naked man walking: saga on I-94

Motorists call about freeway wanderer; police use stun gun

The Michigan State Police said a trooper used a stun gun to restrain a man who was walking naked in traffic on I-94 in Ann Arbor on Monday evening.

Troopers responded to the area of eastbound I-94 near Stone School Road at about 7:20 p.m. after receiving calls from motorists about a naked man walking in the center lane of the freeway, said Sgt. Chris Pascoe of the Ypsilanti Post.

The troopers saw the man wandering in the freeway but he would not respond to verbal commands and resisted their attempts to get him out of danger, Pascoe said.

Did I mention that it’s pretty cold in Michigan in late November?

Assault with a deadly — pickle

Posted by mesablue on October 31, 2007

More proof that it’s not weird enough unless it happens here in Michigan.

Mich. man gets probation for assault with pickle

NILES, Mich. — Talk about being in a pickle: A judge gave a 35-year-old man probation in a case that police said involved an assault with pickles.

According to police reports, the pickle problems began when Bobby Lee Bolen of Buchanan was hanging out at his then-friend Jody Lee’s home in Buchanan on Aug. 20.

Bolen went to the refrigerator and helped himself to some pickles. According to the report, Lee told Bolen he couldn’t afford to feed everyone and not to eat his pickles. Bolen then began yelling and swearing and stormed out, according to the report.

Later, Bolen barged back into the house and got into an argument with Lee. Lee told police Bolen slammed him down on the couch and threw two large pickles at him and said, “Here’s your damn pickles.”

It is not known whether they were able to save the pickles.

Stupid is as stupid does

Remember that little town outside of St. Louis where the kid videotaped a cop that pulled him over and harrassed the crap out of him? The mayor of the town said he wouldn’t stand for it and pushed to have the officer fired.

Well, the mayor, who is an ex-cop just got into a little trouble himself.

St. George mayor, arrested on drug charge, resigns

St. George — The mayor of this tiny but recently infamous community resigned Tuesday, a day after he was arrested for misdemeanor drug possession, a city official said.

Mayor Harold Goodman, elected last year, was arrested Monday night by St. Louis County authorities, Alderman Carmen Wilkerson said.

Goodman was a former police officer who had taken early retirement because of illness. Goodman won election in a three-way race in which the incumbent mayor was challenged by his wife while the two were in the process of getting a divorce.

St. George, a one-fifth square mile hamlet at Interstate 55 and Reavis Barracks Road in south St. Louis County, landed in the national spotlight recently after a video of a police sergeant yelling at a motorist went public. The officer was fired.

Nice town.

Oh no, O.J.

Weird.

O.J. Simpson Questioned About Casino Break-In

O.J. Simpson was questioned Thursday night in connection with a break-in and theft involving sports memorabilia at a hotel room at the Palace Station casino in Las Vegas, police said.

Simpson allegedly broke into a room at the casino late Thursday night in connection with a burglary, TMZ.com reported, citing police sources.

Simpson was questioned and released and is believed to be in Las Vegas, police spokesman Jose Montoya told the Associated Press. Montoya said an investigation is ongoing.

“We don’t believe he’s going anywhere,” he said.

Eyewitnesses say that O.J. and a bunch of his goons entered a room and took back sports memorabilia that had previously been confiscated for money owed.

It would be truly bizarre if he ends up going to jail for this.

Falcons are gonna wait until the NFL investigation is complete, though originaly they were gonna suspend Vick for 4 weeks as a pre-liminary.  The Commish said don’t do anything till they complete an internal investigation.

I don’t argue with that, It has to wait till it goes to trial to make that decision, but If he can’t make camp, or games because of his legal problems, he should be dumped, but he won’t, not until the trial, which is also hard to argue with.

I think it’s impossible to conclude that he didn’t at least play a part in dog torture for the gladiatorial amusement of himself and his friends, but It should go to court before he is universaly hated.  I don’t care about the verdict, but if the evidence makes me change my mind about him, I might not spit on his image every time I see him.

Other than that, I’m presuming guiltyish, which is my right, I’m not on the jury.

Harry Potter Leak

Posted by Wickedpinto on July 20, 2007

I know, it’s pathetic that I’m mentioning it, at least it’s better the the trailers I put up some time ago.

There doesn’t seem to be any doubt that there are copy’s of the book available for reading and review.  One of the big deals floating around is all of the links to torrent sites that have a .pdf, but that pdf is being debunked as fan-fiction, (5oo pages of fan fiction, thats just sad.)  There is also argument about the “spoilers” that are listed in the NYT review (in my opinion, not a big deal, yes I do read a lot of the boards, they are entertaining, and by describing the hallow’s as they actually are, isn’t a big deal, to think that the readers could have figured out the meaning is stupid based on all of the other titles) and a supposed upload of the jim dale audio-book (unless it’s been updated) are all silly and almost all wrong.

I finaly found a review that actually has spoilers, at least for people who might have been curious and attentive, you can figure out a couple of them from this article I would guess, because, there is only one sword mentioned in the entire book, pleanty of axes, but only one sword.

Basicaly, I don’t know how many of you have ever read a book, my guess is most of you, but even if you knew the end of a book or series that you were atached to as the HP people are, you think that would keep you from reading the book?  I can’t think of a single book that I have ever read where knowing the ending would have kept me from reading it, (or at least a single book I enjoyed) because reading is about the process of reading.  Of turning off your real world self and sinking into the world that the author is creating and actually making yourself a part of the book rather than an outsider learning about other people.

Still, I don’t know if I’m gonna cave in and read the book before I hear the audio book. (60 friggen bucks!?!  They are better than the books but not THAT much better) So I’m in a bit of a connundrum.

Do I meander down this week, as I pick up a couple new books for my entertainment, and include Harry Potter into the queue?  I think it comes down to a basic question, do I think that the readers of AMA could tolerate this post about Harry Potter, a review of Harry Potter tomorrow, and then a sunday morning cartoon?

Thats a lot of lameness to ask ya’all to endure, still, I don’t know, I might get the book, and do it anyways.

Stupid reporter tricks

Posted by mesablue on July 10, 2007

This one takes the cake.

Amy Jacobson, a reporter for NBC 5 in Chicago, was caught on tape frolicking poolside in a bikini at the home of Craig Stebic. Stebic’s wife, Lisa, has been missing since April 30th. Jacobson has been covering the story. According to local authorities, Lisa Stebic was trying to evict Craig from her home on the day she disappeared.

Police suspect foul play and have been combing the area searching for Lisa. Dead or alive.

Ever the grieving husband, Craig threw a poolside party and invited Jacobson who attended — with her children.

Jacobson out at WMAQ

WMAQ-Ch. 5 reporter Amy Jacobson negotiated her exit from the station Tuesday after video surfaced on a rival station showing her at a poolside gathering at the home of Craig Stebic, whose wife’s disappearance Jacobson had been covering.

The news staff was informed of her departure In a memo Tuesday afternoon from Vice President of News Frank Whittaker and News Director Camille Edwards. “We are sorry to tell you that Amy Jacobson is leaving NBC 5 News, effective immediately,” according to the memo, which was obtained by the Tribune.

Officials at WBBM-Ch. 2, who had been debating since Friday whether they should air the tape, aired clips on Tuesday morning and posted a report on the station’s Web site after the tape’s existence was reported in the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times.

The tape appears to show Jacobson in a bikini top with a towel around her waist, as well as her children, at the Stebic home along with Stebic. Channel 2, which said the tape was shot Friday but did not say how it was acquired, also reported Craig Stebic’s sister from Iowa was present.

Stebic’s wife, Lisa, 37, has been missing since April 30. The couple was in the process of divorcing and Lisa Stebic was moving to evict her husband from their Plainfield home on the day of her disappearance, the Chicago Tribune has previously reported.

Another station source said the executives wanted to take some time to consider whether an ethical line had been breached and whether punishment was merited for her actions, which occurred on her day off. Reporters generally are encouraged to develop sources while maintaining professional detachment.

Channel 2 showed the tape to Michele Weldon, an assistant journalism professor at Northwestern University. “I mean, clearly this is a conflict of interest,” Weldon told the station. “It’s going to make the audience question, and her colleagues and her competitors question what else has she done.”

“I can’t talk,” Jacobson said Monday, referring calls to Whittaker and her agent, attorney Todd Musburger, who did not return calls.

Professional detachment, indeed.

More than 100 dead

Posted by Wickedpinto on July 7, 2007

The article paints a very negative picture, and it is pretty damn sad, but I can’t help this question about Iraq and other havens for insane lunatic’s willing to slaughter civilians, children, mothers and non-participatory fathers.  Is the problem in Iraq brought about by the US “invasion,” which is really a code word for “evil conquest by an alien western culture,” or is it that the previous regime, and the support from Iran and Syria has no problem putting HUGE amounts of modern explosives into the hands of lunatics?

I’m pro-second amendment, but I think it’s a fair bet that a truck’s worth of explosives would raise some eyebrows and deserves a little investigation and research.

The only occupation an unemployed undocummented iranian, syrian, saudi, pick your random islamic nation can fill is that of murderous animal.  Lets hope they engage in immigration reform, as well as enact a pogram.

Sorry, you gotta kill the loyalists, even we did it.
