And the scum bags don’t even pay taxes!!!

PETA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation headquartered in Norfolk, VA, with offices in New York City and Los Angeles and affiliates in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, India and the Asia-Pacific region. The organization has 162 employees, and its revenue in 2005 was $27,846,730.

Bajeebuz, did they have to kill them? I mean, c’mon, aren’t there any Chinese restaurants around there?

    Bastards.

The Center for Consumer Freedom, which was created with tobacco money, doesn’t pay taxes either. Nor do they care about the welfare of consumers, as their name suggests.

Keep in mind that 10 BILLION land animals are killed each year in the United States for their flesh.

The Center for Consumer Freedom likes that, as they are funded by the restaurant industry.

  6. Muslihoon said

Killing animals for food is far, far, far better than killing them out of “love”. At least in the former case, their deaths are not in vain.

  7. Muslihoon said

Besides, regardless of who funds whom, is not what CCF is saying right now the truth? Shoot not the messenger.

    Denise I don’t get it…

And I wrap them in bacon and eat them. Yumm.

    PETA kills people’s pets.

And, which is it? The tobacco industry or the restaurant industry?

    Fuck Peta!

Please pass the turkey. Oh and the mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans and rolls and olives 10 please ( so I can put them on my fingers) and salad and pumpkin pie and chocolate pudding pie (hold the whipped cream, not a fan) and beer and football.

    Best day ever!

How does one eat a football?

This so deceitful, they couldn’t even list real sources.

Is anyone that naive to actually believe this?

i am a member of peta and they do NOT KILL ANIMALS! repeat: the people who made this are idiots and PETA DOES NOT KILL ANIMALS!!!!!!

Christian this was widely reported in the news. PETA workers were caught by the police throwing dead cats and dogs into dumpsters. That lead to an investigation that uncovered the rest. And, the numbers quoted above are PETA’s numbers — they reported them.

    Catch up, will ya.

How did that turkey turn out?

I’ve gotten into the habit of cooking birds breast-side down. It really does help them cook more evenly/ prevents the white meat from drying out.

It was awesome. The bacon crisped up nicely so I had something to snack on while I carved the turkey. The turkey itself was very tender and had just a hint of the bacon flavor, not too much to take away from the turkey goodness. I cook the turkey at a slightly lower temp than described and put a couple of baggies of ice on the turkey breast while the rest of the turkey is coming up to room temp. That creates a temperature differential of about ten degrees between the breast and the thighs when you put it in the oven so that when the breast reaches about 155-160 degrees, the thighs are about 175-180 and really tender without overcooking the breast meat.

    Verrry crafty, good idea.

Even if it is true, (which I’ve never heard about this on the news) Peta is a nonprofit organization and I’m sure they cannot afford burials for all animals. Think about that.
And why do you care how they are disposed? You don’t. You just want to argue.

When and what station was this supposedly reported? I have a feeling that it was a made up story that people like you love to believe.

I also want to touch on this poster saying ‘killing’. This is also untrue. I think what this person meant was euthanasia, which is the act of putting to death painlessly or allowing to die, as by withholding extreme medical measures, a person or animal suffering from an incurable, esp. a painful, disease or condition.

Become educated. Don’t believe everything you hear.

It’s funny that you are telling me to become educated when you are the one that doesn’t have the facts.

This was very widely reported, as I said. Just because you missed it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. But hey, whatever it takes to get you through the day without facing the truth.

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,245548,00.html

Also, people brought their pets to PETA thinking that they would be placed in new homes, not put to death. PETA raises millions pushing fallacies like this. PETA is a sham front for an extreme vegan/animal rights movement.

And again, The numbers of animals killed were reported by PETA, when the public found out — they stopped publishing the report. No one made this up, PETA has admitted everything.

  20. Muslihoon said

But that’s Fox, mesa. It’s obviously nothing but lies. And fibs. But mostly lies.

(I love Fox. The media thingy not the Mexican guy.)

  21. Muslihoon said

    And I hate PETA.

I notice most people elevate animals (namely, pets) to the level of humans (words like “baby” give that away) whereas people of PETA want to either ontologically elevate all animalkind to humankind or demote all humankind to the level of animalkind. What use, then, is there for classifying humans and animals as separate species?

Indeed, PETA’s intentions are quite unnatural. Even animals exploit each other in ways that make human exploitation, well, humane.

And to imagine that they want us to treat animals better than we treat other humans. Which may mean that they want to ontologically elevate animalkind to above humankind, which is quite odd indeed.

  22. Oh, PETA…you are missing some great meals..and a GREAT deal of common sense. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love PETA. Not the PETA, you are thinking. People for the Eating of Tasty Animals. I love that. But, seriously screw PETA (Ethical (actually unethical) treatment). I will eat meat till the day I die. If we didn’t eat red meat, we wouldn’t be as smart as we are now. What PETA doesn’t realize is that… your brain is…. FAT!!!! Yes you heard it CORRECT, you brain is FAT. You don’t get fat from eating leafy greens, fruit, and nuts. You get fat from eating red meat.

Denise and Christian are morons. They are ineducable. Simply ignore them. We know the facts, they merely accept the BS.
