Dirty Rotten Scoundrels — caught red handed

Posted by mesablue on September 22, 2008

Not the Hope and Change that Obama claims to have known.  Right.

Remember this disgusting smear suggesting that Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party?

It was bandied all over the blogosphere by those compassionate creatures of the left, supposedly created by concerned citizens — more than a week after the New York Times had to retract it’s horribly misreported story.

It claims that Sarah Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party and cites The New York Times for that source. Then it quotes the founder of that Party with some pretty outrageous statements.

But here’s what FactCheck.org says about that:

[Sarah Palin] was never a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a group that wants Alaskans to vote on whether they wish to secede from the United States. She’s been registered as a Republican since May 1982.And The New York Times was forced to retract their earlier claim that Palin was a member of the party, blaming the error on the party’s chair. That retraction was published Sept. 3rd, 8 days before the video was first made publicly available.

The crack team at The Jawa Report

Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.

It is also likely that the PR firm was paid by outside sources to run the smear campaign. While not conclusive, evidence suggests a link to the Barack Obama campaign. Namely:

* Evidence suggests that a YouTube video with false claims about Palin was uploaded and promoted by members of a professional PR firm.

* The family that runs the PR firm has extensive ties to the Democratic Party, the netroots, and are staunch Obama supporters.

* Evidence suggests that the firm engaged in a concerted effort to distribute the video in such a way that it would appear to have gone viral on its own. Yet this effort took place on company time.

* Evidence suggests that these distribution efforts included actions by at least one employee of the firm who is unconnected with the family running the company.

* The voice-over artist used in this supposedly amateur video is a professional.

* This same voice-over artist has worked extensively with David Axelrod’s firm, which has a history of engaging in phony grassroots efforts, otherwise known as “astroturfing.”

* David Axelrod is Barack Obama’s chief media strategist.

* The same voice-over artist has worked directly for the Barack Obama campaign.

This suggests that false rumors and outright lies about Sarah Palin and John McCain being spread on the internet are being orchestrated by political partisans and are not an organic grassroots phenomenon led by the left wing fringe. Our findings follow.

And then…poof! The videos start coming down.

Heh, why on earth would that happen?

Michelle Malkin has screenshots of the YouTube accounts before Axelrod’s buddies/PR firm deleted them.

Cover-up, anyone?

Don’t these guys know that it’s not the lie that gets you caught — it’s the cover-up.

It was only minutes after Ace and Rusty posted about this that the original YouTube accounts that were created solely for the purpose of pushing this smear video started getting scrubbed.

Guilty much?

Please go read the entire account of the investigation and it’s findings at The Jawa Report.

Just a Link

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 19, 2008

I don’t agree, necessarily with the descriptions in the next to last paragraph, and the last paragraph is a little 60’s dream back to earth communal, but I thought it was a very entertaining article, and a lot of the details I can relate to somewhat.

My town used to be like that (to a much lesser degree) when I was a kid, hell, there is an insanely popular Christmas Story about something very much like what is being described in this article.

There’s a few raunchy phrases, but in general it’s just good old fashioned classic American melting pot.

The Palin Thing Reminds Me of Something.

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 18, 2008

As we all know Sarah Palin’s yahoo account was “hacked.”

I hope the guy goes to jail.

I hope he pisses and shits himself on live television when he gets sentenced.

I hope that Obama gets called out for the fact that while he doesn’t lend his name to those efforts, he is directly responsible for causing these acts by promotion and incitement, by using tactics identified by the son of a self defined radical.

and the defense of this little punk, not just by other lefty wackjobs(note, talk left is one of the more honest left sites, 4 stories on lipstic, 2 on tanning beds, none on a gross violation of privacy by a pathetic little manboy who’s daddy will pull him out of a felony, NONE) , but by the supposedly sober media, makes me think of how John J. Haley is a Piece of Fucking Shit.

Just thinking about that made me giggle.

Can a Christianist help me out here?

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 16, 2008

What is a fundamentalist Christian?

I, sorta kinda raised in a Catholic environment, always understood that the “fundamentals” of christianity was the acceptance of Jesus, as the Christ and Lord, and that we are all Sinners, and that through The Christ, Jesus, we are forgiven our sins.

are there any more fundamentals that I’m missing?  Or are there a few thousand pages missing from my bible?

Also, I’m sure most of you guys know, I’m an atheist, so this is an honest question.

Because I don’t believe that vitriolic lefty’s know what fundamentalist christians believe

Update: I’m an atheist, but I am comfortable with that moniker because of my understanding of the will of god through my somewhat sorta catholic upbringing.  I can live a good life, and apologize for those things that I have done wrong, and be forgiven if I am wrong.  I think that my not exactly, but somewhat related to my upbringing that is associated with Catholocism has given me a firm grasp of right and wrong, even though I don’t think that there is an all knowing and caring individual sitting on high messing with my life, or the lives of others.   So, I try to live a good life, a kind life, and when I don’t I feel bad and I beg forgiveness from those I might have wronged.  It’s easy to be an atheist, if you realize that a good and proper god, doesn’t mind, as long as you follow his perfectly reasonable edicts (christian, not Joo.)

He had a Lot to say

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 10, 2008

The right are the fascists according to the artists.

You told us how you weren’t afraid to die.
Well then, so long.
Don’t cry.
Or feel too down.
Not all martyrs see divinity.
But at least you tried.

Standing above the crowd,
He had a voice that was strong and loud.
We’ll miss him.

And they continue.

Standing above the crowd,
He had a voice that was strong and loud and I
Swallowed his facade cuz I’m so
Eager to identify with
Someone above the ground,
Someone who seemed to feel the same,
Someone prepared to lead the way, with
Someone who would die for me.

Will you? Will you now?
Would you die for me?
Don’t you fuckin lie.

I’m a big fan of Tool, and A Perfect Circle.

Do you think that they ever thought that their words of fascistic dominance would ever be used against their own favored party?

I don’t think so, but It IS Obama that they are describing, more than any right winger who they hated.

Delusion is a sad situation, I know.

Obama Worked with the. . . community.

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 9, 2008

Or something.

Wisconsin Steel, was fucked as soon as the socialist policies of the 60’s and 70’s caught up with them, as described in minor, at the National Review here.

But the real problems with Wisconsin Steel, the ONLY raw metal steel mill in the Chicago area, was the oppressive government and Union protections that made it IMPOSSIBLE for wisconsin steel to make money, as described here.

Originaly, Winsconsin Steel was a VERY valid mill, because of their access to the great lakes, which Northwest Indiana had yet to attain, because NW Indiana was still made up of Swamps, and Ice floats at the time of Wisconsin’s creation, in the 1880’s.

SINCE Wisconsin Steel Shut down, LTV, Bethlehem, US Steel, and others in the NW Indiana area also shut down, thing is, that ALL of the NWI (NorthWest Indiana) mills have re-opened, because Indiana doesn’t tax and tax and tax and tax and tax like Illinois, in general, and Chicago in specific do.

It isn’t TRADE that destroyed the mills, it’s the socialists like Obama that destroyed it, with the ignorant acceptance of foolish union managers driving the mill into the ground.

Obama?  You worked with the “Chicago Mills.”  when it’s actually, Mill, as in singular, you FAILED!  Indiana succeeded.

Thank god, while my part of Indy is lib, It’s not retarded.

I lost track, but Obama didn’t help one fucking person who lost their job at Wisconsin Steel.

Not a ONE!  If anyone did, it was Tom McDermit Sr.

MSNBC’s Business Model

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 8, 2008

I believe this is an artistic rendering of Keith Olbermann granting a boon to Obama.

I could be wrong, but the audience does not look happy.

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 6, 2008

But not exactly incorrect.

Obama said,

“Even if I want to take them away, I don’t have the votes in Congress.”

I can actually sorta kinda understand this position.  Though Obama, the articulate one, is too stupid to phrase it properly.

I’m opposed to abortion, thats why I always pull out no matter what contraception is uses, YOU ARE WELCOME LADIES, I don’t want kids, I’m not prepared for kids, and I have no intention of having any, Why?  Cuz I’m a coward.

Anyways, I don’t want any kids, but Abortion is Murder.  It is.  I’m not in favor of making Abortion illegal, I’m in favor of abortion being safe, legal and HUMILIATING! which will make it rare.  If you had an abortion, you killed a child, is it an option (not a right, and OPTION) available thanks to modern medicine?  Yes, are you still killing a child? YES!

It is not the presidents perogative to outlaw abortion, so that shouldn’t even be an argument, and if you argue that the courts might overturn RVW then how about you lobby your flogging state legislature, or your federal reps to allow it in the legislature, rather than begging a group, lets say a Party, perhaps a polit bureau, to represent and create your “rights?”

Now Obama is right, it is also not the presidents perogative to outlaw guns, it’s the legislative branch’s duty to act as though the second ammendment is just words, and to be overturned by a truly constitutional judiciary.

What obama screwed up with, was saying “I DON’t Have the votes.”  How does he know he doesn’t have the votes?  I thought he was post-partisan, he can work with anyone, I thought he could mend the division in the nation, I thought he was the obamassiah who can cure the worlds ill’s by invocation?

What?  He admitted he can’t without a fillibuster proof partisan majority?  But, but, uhh, yeah, uh, well, uh, guns, uh, judges uh well, yah, sooooooooo, uh.

(tired and needed to toss up a post, pardon the poor formulation.)

Update:  I should add, that my opinions aren’t this extreme, they aren’t far off, but I just took a more extreme stance when I was putting this up.  Just wanted to make that clear, I still mean what I said, I justs would moderate my language a little.

A thought,

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 3, 2008

Why Do We Like Palin?

Various reasons, but one I think is that millions of Americans are simply tired of being lectured at by smug elites.”

I disagree, I mentioned over at my/our retardblog I was bitching and moaning a bit, about how I can only be proud of certain things as long as it was a woman who represented them, but that isn’t the reason that I like Palin most.  In fact, the sentiment I share in that comment is actualy an attack on myself for caving into the lefty canard.

What Motivates me about palin has nothing to do with her skirt (though girl got gams) or her breasts (I bet they are as beautiful if not as pristine as Mt. Mckinley) It’s because she is the first Reagen era republican to be on the presidential ticket.

The Dem’s are always gonna run on vietnam, “stop the war,” idiocy, on BS free-love feminism, on Summer of love, communist ideals prevalent in the late 60’s and early 70’s, including earthday, and evil evil greed.

Palin Is the first one on the national ticket who was not old enough to have grown up with that bullshit as a defining moment, and doesn’t lie about it.  Obama’s young enough to be the same, but there’s just something about 63-74 that makes Democrats Cream like “Greased Lightning.”  He can’t be post summer of love, let alone post partisan.

Palin, as a conservative, can approach stupid questions grounded in 60’s ideology just like anyone who’s experience is Late Seventies, early eighty’s with responses Agent Johnsonesque. When questioned about Vietnam, because those are the only questions that the reporters can ask about war.

“MAN! this reminds me of Vietnam! how about you?”FBI Spc Agent Johnson

“I was in 6th grade asshole” Agent Johnson.

It’s high time that we stop basing our internal and external policies on the vietnam war, and Only reagen was strong enough to do that.  Palin being Post Vietnam can do it now, and it’s about flogging time!

Also She’s hot.

and for you female readers, I understand her husband, too, is hot.  Heard the “Todd the Bod” moniker passed around.
