Shoulda Been a Bullet.

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 11, 2010

Is there such a thing as an extra bullet?  Even if there isn’t, I think one would have been well spent here.

Depends on who defines what a crime is.

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 11, 2010

Didn’t read about this until JUST NOW, at OTB Hungary apparently is about to have a near Union Carbide level catastrophe.

“Officials are talking about “human error” which sounds like a remarkably benign way of describing the situation to me. In all likelihood it is the result of criminal neglect.”

Could the reason be that they are a borderline backwards nation masquerading as a contemporary society who are using the “history” of their “glory” to fan dance “intellectuals” into supporting them despite their failures?

And again, Dave, it all depends on who is allowed to legislate what a “crime” is.

[edit: I meant that ENVIRONMENTALLY it would be that bad, not in terms of human life, but who can tell.]

[think I meant to inlude:  “It will certainly be added to the alarming list of greatest anthropogenic environmental disasters. Why is it receiving so little attention here?”  Yeahp, looks and sounds horrible.  I ain’t a greeny, but like pretty stuff, and the ability to drink water.  Looks like budapest is screwed for a little while.]

Advice for parents with university-seeking children

Posted by Viv on October 11, 2010

Sadly, I don’t think enough research is done on university policies by students or parents of students who are exploring which universities to attend. Naturally people will ask questions about academics and degree programs.  However there are some rather important questions that I advise parents add to their list of questions when doing campus visits with their children.

  1. Have you ever employed faculty (adjunct or otherwise) who have supported and/or participated in terrorist activities?
  2. Do you presently employ any faculty members who support seditious actions against the government and/or solicit funding for such activities?
  3. Would your university ever consider hiring someone who has written books dedicated to people who have assassinated political candidates for office?
  4. Do any of your faculty members teach students that the U.S. Criminal Justice System is an institute designed to perpetuate black oppression?

These are just a few.  I challenge you to think of others.

Let me make this clear

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 11, 2010

I’m an atheist, I talk to my friends about it all the time, I’m NEVER a jerk about it.

that My view of Islam, based upon, you, know, literacy shows that Islam IS fundamentally a doctrine of dominance and not a religious faith.

Let me repeat this, I have NO problem with Muslims, I know a few, and some of them (not many actually) are nice people, but ISLAM is an oppressive political doctrine.

I’m Just saying.

I stumbled on this

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 11, 2010

I was watching an interview with Ezra Levant, as I was led to by “samizdata” because I’m a bit of a space nerd, even though I’m afraid of heights.

But I stumbled across this part of his HRC conflict and how disgusting things in Canada and parts of the US can become if we don’t watch ourselves.    This is the first segment, there are 4, I suggest you watch them all if you care about liberty.

I will update sometimes as I get mad.

Like “an individual” (unnamed, a pure hypothetical) who MIGHT be exposed to hate and contempt.

Every girl I ever dated would be able to use that against me, for denying my amazing sexy body from them.

They HATED me and CONTEMPTED (is that a word?) me because I wouldn’t let them luxuriate in the grandeaur that was me.

For those ladies that didn’t file HRC suites?  YOUR WELCOME!

I’m not talking myself up, at least not much, I’m hung like a hamster.  Small, but FEISTY!,  I’ll run that wheel all day ladies.

(My mom will so hate me if she reads this.)

I made a couple of jokes, but Ezra Levant is a FASCINATING person!

Watch his interviews about shale oil, his interviews about HRC, and about Mark Steyn.  The effing guy is fascininating, with a strange smile, but I got yellow teeth so who am I to talk.
