I often ignore citizen video posts of corruption and waste

Posted by Wickedpinto on March 30, 2011

Until someone else who cares actually views it and offers analysis.

This is ridiculous.

The husband disagreed but wasn’t a jerk, and when threatened with he and his wife being restrained or jailed, (the woman clearly insinuates restraining the wife from climbing the pole (insert joke later) to protect her property) and then the blond chick, and the cop outright lied, while threatening legal action, and then intimidated private citizens on private property!  WTF!

I hope this is just a big fat whiner who is exaggerating the situation, excluding background, or maybe some ridiculous piece of performance art, but I doubt it, and the reason I’m hoping that the video is wrong, is because it’s bad imagery, bad precedent, bad citizenship on the part of the “civil servants” and just plain bad.  Seems like a small thing, but, think of the cost of the rig, the cost of digging it out, that guy ain’t no spring chicken, and thinking about the neighborhood games that will be ended because of it?

IN A CULDESAC!!  I can’t think of many culdesacs in my my area that don’t have basketball hoops installed by a nice neighbor with kids so their kids can play basketball in a rather safe environment.    That blonde, should have arrested the driver of the front loader for endanger the lives of minors in a FRIGGEN CUL DE SAC!

Thanks to QandO

For Tushar, it’s an HP post

Posted by Wickedpinto on November 7, 2010

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows has a few new clips.

Found them at IO9, your location for daily dorkdom, I will only include one of the clips, don’t want to make all of our reader sterile from emasculation.

Gotta say, that while Daniel Radcliffe over emotes and is still a “child actor” in his performances, Rupert Grint seems to have grown into an actual performer.  Kinda impressed.  Also, Emma’s a biscuit, she legal yet?

Hiding in Plain Sight

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 17, 2010

Read this over at geekpress, and it’s genius.

When you are famous, and when you live in the very place that virtually everyone loves you, how do you go to get the latest issue of X-men without having everyone mob you?  Why, you go as yourself, because no one would believe you would be so brazen.

I Think I’m in Love.

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 5, 2010

It’s not just sports, it’s a lot of things.  I have never been married, but have witnessed this, and experienced it on a much smaller scale.

Found through With Leather, and the article is at “Twinkies and Gin,”  A great name.  Caution, language is coarse, worse that I usually deliver.

The summary of the post is in this line.

“Keep in mind there are worse things he could be involved in – sex with your best friend, gambling, drugs, drag-racing, sky-diving, or cos-play. Let him have football.”

I like this woman, whoever she is.

Charles Barkley on the Media

Posted by Wickedpinto on October 2, 2010

No, it’s not Chris Matthews and Obama.

This is unprecedented ass kissing.”

It’s ESPN and Lebron.  Charles apparently missed the 2008 election cycle.

An icky yet moraly confusing story

Posted by Wickedpinto on August 30, 2010

Dude is gonna play football, but he is tainted cuz when he was sixteen he had sex with a fifteen year old.

The Rub (ick) is that it was his sister, not an adopted sister, but his sister.

That’s gross.  But he was a Kid, the moment was consensual, and gross, but I don’t think gross should be illegal, though very very gross.  Now, he has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Nailing your sister is gross, and you shouldn’t do it, but punishing this cat for the rest of his life?  I don’t know which opinion is more powerful in my mind.  The sense of injustice in him spending the rest of his life with a scarlet letter, or him going to town on his little sister.  Both are unpleasant thoughts.

My questions are:

Is she hot?

Does She have to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life?

and the comments have a few great moments, I laughed out loud at jeffs at 3:57 Pm, only just a little bit into the comments.

Steinbrenners Dead

Posted by Wickedpinto on July 13, 2010

Controversial Dude sometimes, made a lot of fans of other teams angry for his willingness to “buy” championships, but there is no doubt he was a major player in the sports world, not just baseball.

I don’t track a lot of background in baseball, I’m just a Sox fan, not a fan of the whole sport, but That cat was so all over the goings on in the sport that it’s impossible to ignore his presence, and now his absence.

Gone — drinkin’ celebratin’

Posted by mesablue on September 28, 2007

Back to the Windy City for the weekend. The Cubs will clinch — hopefully. And, I’ll be there. Unfortunately, they won’t. They are finishing the season on the road. Still, it should be fun to hang out and have a few dozen beers in Wrigleyville during the games. Clark & Addison will be crazy when they wrap it up. I was there in 2003, 1998 and 1989. It would be amazing if they could make a run at it this year and avoid the 100 year hype that we’re going to hear all next year.

Then I’m off to St. Louis for a few days of business type stuff and then, who knows — maybe back to Chicago for a playoff game or three.

Oh, and I gots to get me an Italian Beef sammich.

I am not one to dance on a grave,

Posted by Wickedpinto on September 27, 2007

However a great many people will be doing so now because bill wirtz is dead.

I don’t think most hoped for his death, however, I think most hockey fan’s came to the realizition that the hawks would not be able to get the local recognition they deserved, until bill either sold the team (unlikely) or until he died.

It’s a shame he died, however, his death is probably one of the best things to happen to chicago hockey.

It was DISGRACEFULL how he restricted the team, and ‘hawks fans learned to hate him, so most every Chicago hockey fan cheered his death.

It’s a shame that he was that STUPID! that noone could see him as a human but as nothing more than an “uncle moneybags” prick in the way he managed the business of the ‘Hawks.

It’s a shame he’s dead, but honestly?  For hockey fans?  thank god he is, he was a horrible horrible owner, without a doubt the worst owner in all sports.

Rest well bill, but nothing that follows has anything to do with you.

be at peace, but also, be alone, the ‘hawks most definately will not be your legacy, seeing as how you went out of your way to destroy them.

Oh no, O.J.

O.J. Simpson Questioned About Casino Break-In

O.J. Simpson was questioned Thursday night in connection with a break-in and theft involving sports memorabilia at a hotel room at the Palace Station casino in Las Vegas, police said.

Simpson allegedly broke into a room at the casino late Thursday night in connection with a burglary, TMZ.com reported, citing police sources.

Simpson was questioned and released and is believed to be in Las Vegas, police spokesman Jose Montoya told the Associated Press. Montoya said an investigation is ongoing.

“We don’t believe he’s going anywhere,” he said.

Eyewitnesses say that O.J. and a bunch of his goons entered a room and took back sports memorabilia that had previously been confiscated for money owed.

It would be truly bizarre if he ends up going to jail for this.

Watched the Presser

Posted by Wickedpinto on July 24, 2007

Falcons are gonna wait until the NFL investigation is complete, though originaly they were gonna suspend Vick for 4 weeks as a pre-liminary.  The Commish said don’t do anything till they complete an internal investigation.

I don’t argue with that, It has to wait till it goes to trial to make that decision, but If he can’t make camp, or games because of his legal problems, he should be dumped, but he won’t, not until the trial, which is also hard to argue with.

I think it’s impossible to conclude that he didn’t at least play a part in dog torture for the gladiatorial amusement of himself and his friends, but It should go to court before he is universaly hated.  I don’t care about the verdict, but if the evidence makes me change my mind about him, I might not spit on his image every time I see him.

Other than that, I’m presuming guiltyish, which is my right, I’m not on the jury.

It’s that time of year again. When the Cubs venture down to that mini-mall of a stadium that the White Sux call home.

So far Zambrano is on fire, striking out seven of the first nine batters. Cubs up 2-0 in the 4th.

Hawk Harrelson is such an idiot.

Heave the Hawk.
